Throwback Thursday #12 - The Iron Duke

This is a great feature that Melissa at My World...in words and pictures has been doing for a while and I wanted to jump on board! There are plenty of books out there I desperately want...

But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on my shelves?

The Iron Duke - Meljean Brook

After the Iron Duke freed England from Horde control, he instantly became a national hero. Now Rhys Trahaearn has built a merchant empire on the power -and fear - of his name. And when a dead body is dropped from an airship onto his doorstep, bringing Detective Inspector Mina Wentworth into his dangerous world, he intends to make her his next possession. But when Mina uncovers the victim's identity, she stumbles upon a conspiracy that threatens the lives of everyone in England.

I received this as a birthday present last year because I read so many good reviews and loved the sound of it. And yet, I still haven't read it. Since I received it, I've read more Steampunk than I had before and really enjoy the Victorian-esque inventions and who doesn't like a little conspiracy? Right, I think I've talked myself into picking this up soon! :-)

What have you got on your shelves you haven't read yet?

  5. Mel I have the book on my own TBR shelf so do not feel badly about that... This week I got Frostbound, Storm Kissed, Unseen and 7 others that are going to have to wait to be read who knows when... (Along with the other series books that are being put off until I stop accepting review books come October through December so I can read my own stuff through the end of the year)

Long time no visit, loved your mail box and have you read your copy of Magic Slays yet?
