Throwback Thursday #37 - Waking The Witch

This is a great feature that Melissa at My World...in words and pictures has been doing for a while and I wanted to jump on board! There are plenty of books out there I desperately want...

But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on my shelves?

Waking The Witch - Kelley Armstrong
Meet SAVANNAH. She's strong, smart, sexy...and supernatural. In book 11 of the Women of the Otherworld series, Kelley Armstrong tells the story of Savannah - a young witch with a dark heritage. As the orphaned daughter of a black witch mother and sorcerer father, she has powers far beyond a normal witch, and a dangerous addiction to trouble...Will she be able to resist the darker side of her powers, and more to the point, is she right to deny that side of herself?

I adore the Otherworld series so much, but I've had this the 11th book on my shelf for so long - not because I don't want to read it but I know the series is coming to an end. Knowing the series ends with book 13, I want to hold onto the new adventures for as long as possible. This was the series that introduced me to Urban Fantasy and I will miss Savannah, Paige, Elena, Hope and the others! Is that too weird?

  2. I can't believe I have yet to read anything by Armstrong.

Knowing a favorite series of my is coming to an end, I'd probably stall on reading the last few books too. HOLD ON!

    LOL

  4. Ok, I've been having troubles commenting on a few blogs with blogger doing all this new commenting thing. But I've been reading! But it works today on my work computer. :)

Oh I started the series with this book and really enjoyed it. I read the one after as well. I can't wait for the last book to come out! Eeep! And I need to read the rest of the series, the beginnings. ;)
